TVR Griffith 4.3bv For Sale. Year: 1992. Price: £19,950
If you are thinking of buying an early "500", then why not invest in a rare classsic 4.3bv instead. Pre "cat", so better sound. Sweeter shorter stroke engine, and mine was remapped by Mark Adams to give 281bhp at the wheels (Dyno print out available). A tyipical 500 produces 260 - 280bhp on a "rolling road".
K2 TVR is finished in Eclipse blue with matching hood and Wedgwood hide, retaining its original spec. Owned by me for over 20 years. Always garaged and under dust cover.
Cherished plate and 6 months Central TVR warranty are included, with MoT 'till 14/04/17 and newly serviced, K2 TVR is ready to enjoy the Summer with its new owner.

"The last one hundred TVR Griffith are to be built to a new specification. The new version features a new-look front and rear as well as new mirrors. The interior has been updated and brought into line with the other models with dials, switchgear and vents being of the latest generation aluminium type. The rest of the formula has not changed and the blend of classical beauty and race-car performance which so wowed the crowds in 1990 has as much impact now as ever. The 5 litre TVR Power V8 rockets the car from 0-60 in only 4.1 seconds, endowing it with explosive overtaking ability. In order to harness that sort of power, the Griffith 500 features a race-bred chassis, all round ventilated disc brakes and a limited slip differential. Enjoying a nimbleness that can only come with a car of the compact dimensions of the Griffith 500, the front-engined rear drive layout gives superb handling and roadholding. The clever stowable hard-top roof design means that one has all
the advantages of a soft top without the disadvantages and the advent of TVR's own power steering system and lighter clutch design now mean that the Griffith is a car that can be used every day."
